coconest is operated by Senka Labs LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to a minimum and never sell your personal information.
Information we collect
Information you give us.If you join the waitlist for a market we haven't launched yet, we collect the email address you enter and the town you asked about. If you write to us through our Contact page, we collect your email address and the message you send so we can reply. We only ask for information you choose to give us.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) to keep the site secure and reliable. If we later add analytics or affiliate-referral measurement, we will describe it here and in our Cookie Policy first.
How we use information
- To email you when a market you asked about goes live.
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the site.
- To respond to your questions and requests.
- To comply with the law and enforce our terms.
Cookies and similar technologies
We currently use only the essential cookies needed for the site to function, for example, remembering that you have dismissed our cookie notice. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If that ever changes, we will update our Cookie Policy and ask for your choices where the law requires it.
Affiliate links
coconest is free to use. We include affiliate links to home-services partners (currently Angi) and earn a commission if you act on one, at no extra cost to you. These links are clearly disclosed, and they never change the cost estimates we show, those are modeled independently from public and industry data.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us run coconest, for example hosting, database, and email delivery, and only as needed to provide the service, or when required by law.
Your privacy choices
You can ask us to access or delete the information you have given us at any time through our Contact page.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know, delete, and correct the personal information we hold, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by law, and we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal automatically. You can record an opt-out using the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information control or by contacting us.
Data retention
We keep waitlist emails until the market launches and for a reasonable period afterward. We keep messages sent through our contact form for as long as we need them to handle your request and keep a record of our correspondence. In both cases, we delete your information sooner if you ask us to.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
coconest is intended for adults making home-improvement decisions. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice.
